Former WEC Champion, Rob McCullough becomes First Announced Participant in Bellator’s Lightweight Tournament

Bellator officials have announced that former WEC champion, Rob McCullough will be the first participant in season four’s lightweight tournament.

Rob McCullough has picked up two consecutive victories since being released by the WEC back in November of 2009, following a loss to Karen Darabedyan. McCullough competed twice for the California-based promotion, Tachi Palace Fights, picking up wins against Isaac de Jesus and Corey Hill.

McCullough went 8-4 during his time in the WEC, including a 13-month run as the promotion’s lightweight champion.
