MMA Junkie Reports:

Ronnie Mann

– 18-2-1 MMA/ Bellator Debut

– 2 Fight Win Streak

– Notable Wins: Douglas Evans, Shigeki Osawa, Tetsuya Yamada

Ronnie Mann becomes the third notable fighter to leave Sengoku in Japan and head stateside. Mann signed a mutli-fight deal with the Bellator Fighting Championships. He won’t be apart of this year’s featherweight tournament, but future tourney spots are likely in his future.

Ronnie Mann has won seven of his last eight fights, his only loss being a submission defeat to the #2 featherweight in the world, Hatsu Hioki back at Sengoku: Eighth Battle back in May of 2009. Most recently, Mann defeated Douglas Evans to become Shark Fights featherweight champion. Ten of his eighteen wins have come by way of submission.

Jorge Santiago and Dave Herman earlier this week were given their release from the Sengoku Raiden Championhsips, both signing deals with the UFC.
