MF: Interesting news here. Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz were chosen to be the coaches on the Ultimate Fighter, season 11. Then meet up for a third fight in Vancouver against each other. Well, rumor has it Tito Ortiz was not able to finish taping the season for undisclosed reasons and Rich Franklin came in to replace him. So now it will be Rich Franklin vs Chuck Liddell at UFC 115. It will be interesting to see why Ortiz was unable to finishing taping of the show.

MF: This should be an exciting year for the Ultimate Fighter. This is the first year where there isn’t a “ringer” in the group of house mates. The playing field seems to be pretty even, which should lead to some exciting fights. If i had to pick an early favorite, my guess would be either Chris Camozzi or Kyle Noke, who have both already fought and beat tough competition in their careers. That said, i’ve also heard a lot of good things about Costa Phillipou, Kris McCrary, and Charles Blanchard. Even though most MMA fans aren’t real excited to see Liddell/Ortiz III, these are two proven coaches on this show, who actually care about coaching young fighters.
